Five shot and one dead in North St. Louis drug deal

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – A drug deal gone bad left five people with gunshot wounds, one person has been pronounced dead.  Homicide detectives are investigating the scene.

Police responded to gunfire near the intersection of Goodfellow and Leonora Friday afternoon.  They report that gunfire was exchanged between a suspect’s vehicle and a victim’s vehicle.

One person was pronounced dead n the 6100 block of Lalite.  Two other people with gunshot wounds were also  found at this location. Two others with gunshot wounds were found in the 5200 block of Alcott.  They were taken to the hospital to be treated for gunshot wounds.
