SOUTH ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – L.A Times Reporter Matt Pearce was injured during protests in south St. Louis Sunday night. News 4 crews say Pearce was hit in the head at Vandeventer and 44 after citizens were seen throwing rocks. It is unclear why rocks were being thrown or if Pearce was the target. Pearce later tweeted out that a Gateway Region Action Medic assisted him and that he was fine.
